  • Bachelor of Biomedical Science, Life Science, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Medical Lab Technologist, Health care related studies with Medical & Clinical background.
  • Sales and marketing experience especially in the clinical diagnostics or hospitals working experiences with medical instruments, areas such as microbiology, biochemistry, haematology and blood transfusion will be an added advantage.
  • Positive mindset, pleasant personality, independent, proactive and strong human relations skill.
  • Able to write and speak English & Bahasa Melayu; Ability to speak other languages and dialects will be an added will be an added advantage.

Job Description / Responsibility
  • Responsible for the sale of assigned products and area of coverage.
  • Plan and carry out direct marketing activities according to directives given by Business Manager to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by emails, post, telephone and personal visitations.
  • Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge in assigned area of coverage, giving effective presentation.
  • Understand and confirm with Area Sales Manager for the price and model of the products.
  • Demonstrate the ability to carry on business conversation with customers, business owners (principals) and decision makers.
  • Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing sale.
  • Sell consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various products our Company can offers to their business issues.
  • Carry out market research, monitor competitors activities and customer surveys.
  • Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on customers, direct mails, emails and networking.
  • Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.
  • Maintains accurate record of all sales and prospecting activities including sale calls, presentations, closed sales and follow up activities within assigned areas of coverage.
  • Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects and company employees.

  • Manage queries from internal and external customers and provide technical support to any problems encountered by users;

  • To assist in entering correct item description, category number, selling price, manufacturer, delivery period, payment, validity, additional information as per instruction of Sales Executive / Product Specialist.
  • To assist in tender preparation and create tender log.
  • To ensure contact all Sales personnel for delivery or undertaking upon receiving Local Purchase Order (LPO) / Purchase Order (PO).
  • To ensure check the PO received against the quotation generated (PR processing at latest stage).
  • To generate Purchase Requisition (PR).
  • To identify outright purchase or reagent rental placement from the PO.
  • Keep good tracking, filings and records for every received Local Purchase Orders (LPO) / Purchase Orders (PO) softcopy.
  • To file in customer satisfaction form, record of demonstration and sales exhibition presentation.
  • To email / call Sales person for any incoming sales enquiry call and create call log.
